Coltivation of Shiva Shanti Regular

The Shiva Shanti Regular cannabis seeds have a genetic predominantly indica. The variety was developed in the 1990s to celebrate the formation of Sensi Seed Bank, and was produced by an Afghan plant called Garlic Bud, and a classic Kush variety.

This is the regular variant, which makes it the preferred choice of growers who want to generate their own seeds. The seeds of this package produce both male and female plants. Regular seeds are also suitable for those who want to experience intersection with other varieties.

The Shiva Shanti Regular has a relatively short flowering time, from 50 to 55 days. It means that growers can reach the harvesting stage in a relatively short time. Thanks to genetics, plants do not tend to reach dizzying heights: In fact, if grown inside, it is possible to limit their growth to only 100-160 cm. Outside it is likely to become higher - on average between about 190 and 220 cm.

From the structural point of view, the plants are quite bushy, with dark and narrow leaves. They can be flattened in appearance, with a thick central stem. Most buds form around this stem, and are usually large and dense. They are also compact and often tapered. The cultivators report to obtain abundant crops from the Shiva Shanti Regular, without having to commit too much. If grown inside, the average yield is about 500 grams per square meter, while outside is about 500 grams per plant.

This variety behaves particularly well in warm and sunny climates, such as the Mediterranean. Thanks to their kush heritage, plants are usually ready for harvesting towards the end of September/early October. They can also be cultivated inside (all year), or in greenhouse. Their average height indicates that low ceilings or greenhouse roofs should not be a problem.

Supercropping and lollipopping are both effective cultivation techniques for the Shiva Shanti Regular, and give good results. However, most growers are able to obtain substantial crops without too much effort.

Effect, flavour and smell of Shiva Shanti Regular

The Shiva Shanti Regular is predominantly indica, and this manifests itself in the effect, which is powerful and total; consumers describe it as calming, and at the same time sharpens the senses. The influence of 15% sativa also adds a pinch of relief.

Plants do not produce excessive odours, which is useful for those who want to cultivate them without attracting unwanted attention. However, they produce a little perfume, typically sour and sweet, with a skunk profile. After seasoning, the smell is less evident, but the taste of skunk is still very present in the mouth.
