Bubba Kush, also known as "BK", "Bubba" and "Bubba OG Kush" is a marijuana strain that has gained notoriety in the United States and beyond for its excellent tranquilizing effects. Sweet aromas of hashish with subtle notes of chocolate and coffee are evident in the smell. The Bubba Kush has a voluminous flower structure with chromatic shades ranging from green wood to pale violet.

The robust stature of the plant and the bulky structure of the buds suggest an Afghan descent, but its genetic origins are not certain. Bubba Kush emerged immediately after 1996, when an OG Kush pollinated an unknown indica strain from New Orleans.
