Banana Kush has some high quality sativa genetic characteristics, it is composed by the legendary Silver Haze crossed with the Skunk Kush, and the famous and tasty NYC Diesel, largely sativa. On both sides of the family tree there are also varieties of Afghan Kush. Skunk Kush forms an important paternal element, while the pride of Californian cannabis, OG Kush, is the mother plant used to make White Label Banana Kush.

Cultivation of Banana Kush Feminized by White Label

Banana Kush Feminized cannabis seeds are 70% indica, for 30% sativa, and show typical indica cultivation. The sativa influence of this variety is noted above all in the structure of its flowers and in the resulting brain effect.

The growth of vegetation is vigorous and reliable. Most plants develop a thick production main stem and robust branches with short internodal spaces. During the flowering phase, the vegetative height of Banana Kush Feminized typically increases from 100% to 150%. Banana Kush slows its growth upwards in the first weeks of flowering when the first shots develop in the many places of its peaks. Before reaching the central point of its flowering period from seven to nine weeks, this variety produces many small, solid, resinous glasses to each knot, which generate nodes of buds.

Flower groups often take a conical or pyramidal shape, with a further base that narrows towards a rounded point. Thanks to the presence of extra vigorous buds, the terminal peaks at the apex of the main stem of Banana Kush and the branches often join the groups of flowers below, forming large coles. This happens in spite of the tendency of the chalices to group towards the knots, rather than to “cur” among themselves.

In the flowering phase, the Banana Kush of White Label needs very little care, and plants can be left in their condition until harvest time. The humidity level should be kept low in the second half of the flowering, due to the size and compact formation of the buds. Like many varieties of indica, Banana Kush needs many nutrients to produce excellent results. With the right level of care, plants tend to produce huge crops.

After harvesting, the buds dry rather quickly, maintaining much of their size. A dehumidifier or good air circulation in the drying area is recommended to obtain higher harvests, since the peaks of Banana Kush can release large amounts of water in the air. The pruning is a simple task, since the plants produce few leaves in the flowering phase. Also large groups of flowers have relatively few leaves with whole foil.

Effect, flavour and smell of Banana Kush Feminized White Label

The Banana Kush of White Label is a dominant indica. The buds are fat, fruity and fragrant and rich in resinous glands. They are also easy to break, thanks to their relatively small glasses. The breaking of the buds releases the full and complex aroma of this variety. Expect a sweet taste and smell of ripe banana, cane sugar, citrus, and rich and spicy hashish. During growth, the smell is not dominant. However, growers should remember that it increases as the harvest approaches.

The effects are mainly indica, but there is enough sativa to elevate its powerful euphoric effect on the body and make it emerge from other Kush varieties. The warm, relaxing and euphoric effect of Banana Kush feels immediately. The bulky part of his cannabinoid profile occurs shortly after, raising the mood and making it more likely for conversation, laughter and creativity.
